Перестал работать тачпад после последних обновлений. [РЕШЕНО]

Приветствую!
Дано АСУС Х501А с одной операционкой 14.10

Симптоматика проблемы:
На экране логина и курсор и клавиши тачпада работают, после ввода пароля курсор работает только до момента загрузки настроек дальше перестает реагировать(т.е. при подключении железа все ок). Внешняя мыша работает.
Траблы начались после установки обновлений в прошлую среду.

Вопрос: в какую сторону смотреть, что почитать?

И так внимание тушь!!!
После полутора недель ковыряний и эксперементов, вычитки гигабайтов логов с полным нулевым эффектом, поднятием демонов в ручную, выяснилось моя дочь просто служебными клавишами физически отрубила работу тачпада.
