настройка NVIDIA 7900 GS в SLI режиме

С двумя видеокартами я не смог даже с Live CD Запуститься. Пришлось на время инсталяции одну карточку вытащить.

Далее ставим дрова:

sudo apt-get install nvidia-glx-new

потом надо поправить файлик xorg.conf
sudo kwrite /etc/X11/xorg.conf

в секции "Device"
заменяем
Driver "nv"
на
Driver "nvidia"

в секции "Screen"
добавляем
Option "SLI" "Auto"

у меня этих секций сейчас 3
я добавил там, где
Identifier "Default Screen"

Вобщем всё. если загрузились, и видите только чёрный экран, то надо нажать Ctrl+Alt+F1
попадёте в консоль. там можно залогиниться и поправить файл /etc/X11/xorg.conf с помощью, например, mc (Midnight Commander)

сейчас мой файл xorg.conf выглядит так:
